Healthy Superbowl Snacks Your Guests Will Love!

Isn't it ironic when watching pro sports (like the Superbowl) make us want to eat the worst foods for us? I am victim of it dogs, hamburgers, greasy fries, cookies, etc. It's like an immediate association and "pass" to eat terribly. Everything in moderation of course and while it's okay to have a few bites of unhealthy foods, having some healthy options for your guests (that they will actually eat) will be so appreciated by those trying to keep up their healthy habits this year. Below are some appetizer and main course ideas that will keep your football fans happy and satisfied regardless of who's winning! These are inspirations from other great sites that I refer to often for awesome recipes, then if possible, I modify a bit to make more healthy. When you are making your grocery store list for the parties this weekend, consider some of these options...let me know how it goes!

Yogurt Dip: 1 cup plain greek yogurt, lemon zest , s&p to taste

Ground Turkey & Kale Soup  vs. hearty beef chilli

RECIPE (go low carb and omit the rice in the recipe as shown above & add more of your favorite veggies)
