It's almost my favorite time of year!! FALL!!!! I love, love, love fall!! I think this love just happened when I came into adulthood. Fall as a kid meant back to school and the end of freedom, so I guess I never appreciated what the fall season means to me now. After moving back to Northern California last year from Southern California, I was able to dust off my boots, hats and scarves...making it officially fall in my book. I had never really ventured into the (faux) leather short arena until this pair (similar here) and I have to say they are super fun, pretty versatile and they make a statement for sure. Make sure to have them tailored so they fit just right. I also am loving all the soft pinks seen around lately, like this amazing tank I have in 3 colors. If you don't have a pair of open toed booties, I was like you about a year ago. I was not into it at all...until I got some myself and found they literally work well with any situation. You can wear them with shorts, dresses or pants...they are perfect. These ones are next on my "To-Get List."
Cooler weather, holidays, football, family, rainboots, lattes (sorry not pumpkin, those make me vomit), and the excitement and anticipation this whole season brings! I love it all. Our daughter is now 3 so it is such a fun, fun age because she finally "gets it." She can pick out her Halloween Costume...currently deciding between a Pirate or Sheriff Callie, just depends on the day you ask her. Time to begin new traditions that she will actually remember now!! I was trying to remember what Halloween movies or traditions we had as kids growing up. We always carved pumpkins at our good family friends house and also went trick or treating in their neighborhood, since we only lived on a street with 3 other houses (boring!). So their neighborhood was much more exciting. What did you do or what have you started now being a parent? I need some ideas please:) Thanks for reading!
