Outfit Details: Dress // Boots // Sunglasses // Umbrella // Lipstick
Spring is one of my favorite times of the year. I guess I like the unpredictability of it all. Some days it's bright and sunny and others it's a rainstorm. So to plan accordingly to the ever changing spring weather...you have to find layers that work effortlessly. I run cold, so I always bundle up and over do it. That being said, when the sun is shining bright, I immediatley regret my decision for a wool sweater and socks! So that's why I love pairing these Hunter Boots with the midi dress. It leaves areas to cover up but also is able to be cool when the sun pops out mid way through the day. I used to have the taller boots, but gave them up as soon as the lower ones came into my life. Much lighter and easier to walk in, I think. This affordable dress has been a great closet staple. Wear it with rain boots, wedges or classic converse. I love options in life and in my wardrobe, so if I can buy one thing and wear it multiple ways...it's a win win in my book!!
It's crazy to say that this year is half way through. Have you done the things you have set out to do this year? I feel like spring cleaning isn't just for our closet, it's for our life as well. Not to get too deep, but we always start the year off with great intentions and it's a great exercise to reflect back on where you want to be both personally and professionally. Just be patient and not too hard on yourself. If you have gotten off track time to get back on it. If you are where you want to be, then smile big and keep going and growing!! You've got this! I wanna know...what are some mid-year goals you can set now? Travel more, soak up the moment, strive for that promotion, start your business, be more present, get your exercise back on track? Whatever it is...go for it! Thanks for reading friends.
